I am currently an associate researcher at the state key lab of info engineering in surveying, mapping, and remote sensing (LIESMARS), Wuhan University. I am passionate about designing methods and building tools that automate repetitive tasks. My primary goal is to empower frontline workers by developing autonomous service robots with efficient and robust navigation capabilities. In parallel, I aim to assist researchers by creating methods that automate algorithm discovery and evolution.
With a background in surveying and mapping, my work mainly focuses on multisensor fusion for localization, mapping, and motion planning. My current research interests include large-scale, globally consistent mapping for building inspection and mining and robotic exploration in challenging and adverse environments.
